An Amber Alert was activated across Georgia early Sunday morning for an 8-year-old girl last seen in Cobb County. Authorities say Lila Hartman was reported missing around 1:30 AM from her Marietta home, sparking a multi-agency search.

The alert describes Lila as 4'2" with brown hair and blue eyes, last wearing pink pajamas. Police believe she may be with 34-year-old Daniel Hartman, her non-custodial father, in a silver 2015 Honda Accord with Georgia license plate RXT9821.

This case is trending nationally due to the urgent nature of child abduction alerts and widespread community sharing on social media. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has mobilized its Child Abduction Response Team while local officers conduct door-to-door searches in the Hickory Hills neighborhood.

Cobb County Police Chief Stuart VanHoozer stated at a 7 AM press conference: "We have every available resource working to bring Lila home safely. If you see this vehicle or these individuals, call 911 immediately."
